Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026 technology foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology
- Produce strategic roadmaps translating future scenarios into actionable business initiatives
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype emerging technologies with commercial viability
- Present future outlooks to executive stakeholders and board members
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitor future-state strategies
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Strategy, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven experience developing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published thought leadership in futures or technology journals
- Proficiency in futures research tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
