Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic roadmaps based on emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Lead scenario planning workshops for executive leadership and board members
- Author high-impact research papers on future market disruptions and opportunities
- Partner with R&D to prioritize innovation investments in emerging domains
- Design and execute horizon scanning methodologies across global markets
- Represent company at premier industry conferences as keynote speaker
- Mentor junior futurists and build cross-functional innovation networks
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into executable business strategies
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (blockchain, AGI, nanotech)
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Published thought leadership in recognized industry journals
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFPS) preferred
