Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts affecting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop and operationalize multi-year strategic roadmaps aligned with emerging paradigms in AI, biotech, and climate solutions
- Partner with R&D and product teams to incubate moonshot projects targeting 2026 market opportunities
- Author forward-looking whitepapers and executive briefings on exponential technologies and their business implications
- Build and lead a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers to inform strategic priorities
- Quantify future scenarios through advanced modeling and simulation to mitigate risks and capitalize on disruptions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or equivalent C-suite strategy experience
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (quantum computing, AGI, synthetic biology) and their market trajectories
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related technical discipline
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented strategic initiatives from 5-10 year foresights
- Exceptional storytelling skills with experience presenting complex scenarios to executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS, APF) or equivalent analytical modeling credentials
- Fluency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP-V) and data visualization platforms
