Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps using horizon scanning and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, and sustainable systems
- Produce quarterly strategic briefings for C-suite on emerging risks and innovations
- Partner with product teams to prototype 2026-concept products using rapid iteration methodologies
- Establish global foresight networks with academic institutions and government agencies
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of human-machine symbiosis
- Manage $2M annual innovation budget for 2026-focused pilot projects
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published work in peer-reviewed journals on technological singularity or societal transformation
- Expertise in horizon scanning tools (e.g., Delphi method, weak signal analysis)
- Proven track record of incubating technologies from concept to market
- Proficiency in systems modeling software (AnyLogic, Stella Architect)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 companies on 5+ year strategic planning
- Deep knowledge of quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
