Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ market evolution
- Lead scenario planning workshops identifying disruptive forces and opportunities
- Produce trend reports and white papers published in industry journals
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-focused product concepts
- Advise executive leadership on emerging tech adoption and risk mitigation
- Represent company at Davos, SXSW, and other future-focused conferences
- Mentor junior futurists and build internal foresight capabilities
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on AI, climate tech, or biotechnology trends
- Expertise in scenario planning methodologies (e.g., STEEP, Delphi)
- Proven experience translating foresight into commercial strategy
- Exceptional data visualization and presentation skills
- Fluency in at least one additional language (Spanish/Mandarin preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping projects implemented
