Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual 2026 technology trend forecasts with actionable strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional workshops to map emerging technologies (quantum, AGI, neurotech) to business opportunities
- Establish ethical frameworks for next-gen AI deployment and autonomous systems integration
- Partner with R&D to prototype future-facing solutions with 5+ year development horizons
- Present visionary insights to executive stakeholders and industry conferences
- Build competitive intelligence models for 2026 market landscapes
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing high-impact trend analyses (e.g., Gartner, WEF reports)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or relevant technical field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Experience with scenario planning tools (STEEP, Delphi methods) and trend analysis platforms
- Exceptional storytelling skills to communicate complex futures to diverse audiences
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Strategic Foresight (preferred)
- Portfolio of published future-vision documents or technology roadmaps
