Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology sectors
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps aligned with organizational vision
- Translate complex technological concepts into actionable business frameworks
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with emerging technologies
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futurism, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 10+ years experience in strategic planning or technology forecasting
- Proven track record of identifying and capitalizing on emerging trends
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Proficiency in scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Portfolio demonstrating successful technology commercialization
