Key Responsibilities
As the Senior Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day administrative and logistical functions of the Sacramento office. You will act as the bridge between executive leadership and operational staff.
Responsibilities
- Operational Leadership: Direct daily workflows, optimize supply chain processes, and ensure all logistics meet strict quality standards.
- Team Management: Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing team of logistics coordinators and administrative staff.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement operational budgets and long-term strategies to drive company growth.
- Process Improvement: Identify bottlenecks in current systems and implement data-driven solutions to increase efficiency.
- Stakeholder Communication: Provide regular reports to senior leadership and maintain strong relationships with external partners.
- Compliance: Ensure all corporate policies, safety regulations, and local laws are strictly followed.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management within the corporate logistics or supply chain sector.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is required.
- Location: Must reside in or within commuting distance of Sacramento, CA.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Leadership: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and managing P&L responsibilities.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
