Job Description
At 2026, we are not just predicting the future; we are building it. We are pioneers in the field of post-silicon computing, developing the software stack for next-generation quantum processors. We are looking for a visionary Senior Quantum Software Engineer to join our elite engineering team in Austin.
As a key player in our mission to unlock quantum supremacy, you will bridge the gap between abstract quantum mechanics and deployable software architectures. You will work on error correction, quantum circuit compilation, and simulation tools that power our hardware.
Why Join Us?
We offer a competitive compensation package, equity for all employees, and the opportunity to work on technology that will define the 21st century. Our team is composed of the brightest minds from top-tier universities and leading tech companies.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms and error correction protocols for NISQ devices.
- Develop high-fidelity simulation environments and virtualization layers for quantum hardware.
- Collaborate closely with physicists and hardware engineers to translate theoretical models into executable quantum code.
- Optimize quantum circuit execution and reduce error rates for cloud-based quantum processors.
- Mentor junior engineers, conduct technical code reviews, and establish coding standards for the quantum team.
- Stay at the forefront of quantum computing research, publishing papers and contributing to open-source frameworks.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional software development experience, with a strong focus on high-performance computing or quantum computing.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar).
- Experience with parallel computing architectures, GPU acceleration (CUDA/OpenCL), and distributed systems.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and complex systems theory.
