Responsibilities
- Technical SEO Audits: Conduct comprehensive audits of client websites to identify crawl errors, indexability issues, and on-page optimization opportunities.
- Keyword Strategy: Develop and execute data-driven keyword research strategies to target high-value search terms and drive qualified traffic.
- Content Optimization: Collaborate with content teams to optimize web copy, meta tags, and HTML structures for maximum search engine performance.
- Link Building: Spearhead off-page SEO campaigns to build high-authority backlinks and enhance domain authority.
- Analytics & Reporting: Monitor performance metrics using Google Analytics and Search Console, providing detailed monthly reports on traffic, rankings, and conversions.
- Algorithm Updates: Stay ahead of Google algorithm updates and adapt strategies to maintain and improve search rankings.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years of proven experience in SEO, preferably in a digital agency or in-house role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in technical SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Google Search Console.
- Analytics: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Tools: Familiarity with CMS platforms (WordPress, Shopify) and HTML/CSS basics.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
