We are seeking a visionary Senior Technical Strategist (2026 Horizon) to define our long-term technical roadmap and lead the integration of emerging technologies into our core architecture. In this role, you will bridge the gap between business objectives and technical execution, ensuring our platform is scalable, secure, and future-proof.
Responsibilities
- Architect the 2026 Vision: Define and communicate a comprehensive 5-year technical roadmap, aligning engineering goals with strategic business objectives for the 2026 timeframe.
- Emerging Technology Leadership: Research, evaluate, and prototype cutting-edge technologies (AI, Quantum Readiness, Edge Computing) to determine their viability for Nexus.
- Strategic Decision Making: Lead architectural reviews and technology selection committees, making high-stakes decisions that impact the company’s technical debt and scalability.
- Stakeholder Management: Translate complex technical concepts into clear strategies for C-suite executives, investors, and product teams to drive buy-in and alignment.
- Talent & Culture: Mentor senior engineering leadership and foster a culture of innovation, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
- Risk Mitigation: Identify potential technical bottlenecks and systemic risks in the 2026 infrastructure plan before they impact delivery.
Qualifications
- Strategic Vision: 10+ years of experience in software engineering or product management, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership or CTO advisory capacity.
- Tech Stack Fluency: Deep understanding of distributed systems, cloud architecture (AWS/Azure/GCP), and microservices.
- Future-Forward Mindset: Demonstrated ability to anticipate industry trends and adapt strategies for the 2026 landscape.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to articulate complex technical strategies to non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving complex, large-scale problems in fast-paced environments.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
