Responsibilities
- Analyze and forecast disruptive technologies, market trends, and consumer behaviors through 2026 using quantitative and qualitative research methodologies
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks to guide R&D priorities and product innovation cycles
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into actionable business initiatives
- Build and maintain a global network of industry experts, academic partners, and innovation scouts
- Present executive-level reports and strategic recommendations to the board of directors
- Design and implement horizon scanning systems to identify emerging risks and opportunities
- Champion a culture of innovation by mentoring teams in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, Economics, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years of experience in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or corporate futurism
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and market forecasting frameworks
- Demonstrated success in translating future insights into billion-dollar business strategies
- Deep knowledge of emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex futures to diverse stakeholders
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and foresight methodologies (Delphi, STEEP analysis)
