The Role:
As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing business needs, documenting processes, and ensuring that technology solutions meet business objectives. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and drive project success.
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to define business requirements and functional specifications.
- Process Analysis: Evaluate current business processes and identify areas for improvement, optimization, and automation.
- Documentation: Create detailed UML diagrams, process flows, and user stories using industry-standard tools like Visio or JIRA.
- Bridge Building: Act as the liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and non-technical business stakeholders.
- Data Analysis: Analyze data trends and metrics to provide actionable insights for decision-making.
- Testing Support: Assist in user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure delivered solutions meet quality standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is a plus.
