Responsibilities
- Translate complex business requirements into actionable technical solutions
- Develop detailed process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- Analyze data using SQL, Excel, and BI tools to identify trends and insights
- Collaborate with stakeholders across government agencies and private sector partners
- Create comprehensive documentation including BRDs, UAT plans, and presentation decks
- Lead requirement validation sessions and manage change requests
- Support Agile/Scrum methodologies as the Product Owner's proxy
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Business Analyst experience with federal government projects
- Expert proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau)
- Certification in CBAP, PMP, or Agile Scrum Master preferred
- Proven track record of documenting requirements for large-scale IT initiatives
- Exceptional stakeholder management and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of DC-area regulatory frameworks
- Ability to prioritize tasks in ambiguous, high-pressure situations
