Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Develop and execute a comprehensive technology roadmap specifically for the 2026 strategic horizon, aligning technical capabilities with business objectives.
- Trend Analysis: Monitor and analyze emerging technologies (AI, Quantum, Biotech) to identify high-impact opportunities for the company.
- Product Innovation: Lead the R&D team in prototyping and validating next-generation products that will launch or mature by 2026.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicate complex technical visions to non-technical stakeholders and secure buy-in for long-term investments.
- Partnerships: Cultivate relationships with industry leaders, startups, and academic institutions to stay ahead of the curve.
- Culture of Innovation: Foster a high-performance engineering culture that encourages experimentation, risk-taking, and continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in technology leadership, with at least 3 years in a CTO, VP of Engineering, or equivalent strategic role.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Administration; Master’s degree or MBA is preferred.
- Strategic Vision: Proven ability to look beyond current market trends and identify long-term technological shifts.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of software architecture, cloud infrastructure, and emerging tech stacks relevant to 2026.
- Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading diverse, high-performing engineering teams and managing cross-functional projects.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
