Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using trend analysis and scenario planning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product roadmaps
- Produce quarterly Horizon Reports highlighting disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype next-gen solutions for 2026 market readiness
- Establish innovation KPIs to measure long-term strategic impact
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurism conferences and industry symposiums
- Mentor junior strategists in foresight methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 7+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for communicating complex futures
- Experience with futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-shaping projects or publications
- Ability to synthesize diverse data sources into coherent narratives
