Responsibilities
- Architect 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum/AI convergence
- Identify and evaluate disruptive market opportunities for 2026+
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and venture partners
- Manage $10M+ innovation portfolio with ROI-focused KPIs
- Author thought leadership publications for IEEE and Nature
- Mentor PhD-level researchers in translational science
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or related field
- 10+ years in tech strategy at Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science with 500+ citations
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of scaling innovations to $100M+ ARR
- Active patent portfolio with 15+ granted patents
- Experience with DARPA/EU Horizon Europe funding programs
