Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop quantum algorithms to solve optimization problems in finance, logistics, and materials science
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
- Research and mitigate quantum security vulnerabilities in existing systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research
- Translate theoretical quantum models into practical implementation frameworks
- Mentor junior researchers through our Quantum Innovation Fellowship program
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (MS with exceptional experience considered)
- 5+ years in quantum computing research or industry implementation
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with superconducting qubits or trapped-ion systems
- Strong background in complex algorithm design and computational theory
- Demonstrated ability to secure research grants (>$500k preferred)
