Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational growth objectives
- Architect strategic frameworks for integrating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) into core business models
- Chair cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Present future-state scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to pioneer next-gen solutions
- Monitor global regulatory trends and ethical implications of emerging technologies
Qualifications
- Advanced degree (MS/MBA/PhD) in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or Technology Strategy
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or technology foresight roles
- Proven track record of developing and implementing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology, and spatial computing
- Exceptional systems thinking with ability to model complex future scenarios
- Certification in Futures Methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning) preferred
- Published thought leadership on technological disruption or future trends
- Experience leading cross-functional teams through ambiguous transformation initiatives
