Responsibilities
- Analyze macroeconomic indicators and technological convergence points to forecast 2026+ market disruptions
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for clients in autonomous systems, neurotech, and decentralized finance
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into actionable business strategies
- Produce white papers and trend reports published in industry-leading journals
- Build predictive models using machine learning to simulate future consumer behavior
- Advortise on global stages (Davos, CES, Web Summit) as a thought leader
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon-scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years in strategic consulting or corporate foresight at Fortune 500 level
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies (e.g., AI ethics, climate tech)
- Proficiency in futures forecasting tools (e.g., Delphi method, causal layered analysis)
- Experience with scenario modeling platforms (e.g., Powersim, AnyLogic)
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful market disruption predictions
- Deep understanding of geopolitical and socioeconomic megatrends
