Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts to build 5-10 year strategic forecasts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience in volatile markets
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Produce whitepapers and thought leadership on disruptive industry transformations
- Partner with product teams to embed future-readiness into roadmaps
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify strategic partnership opportunities
- Advose executive leadership on paradigm shifts affecting our industry
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into business impact
- Expertise in trend analysis tools (e.g., Delphi method, horizon scanning)
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex futuristic concepts
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS) preferred
- Portfolio of published future-vision work required
