- Lead moonshot innovation projects in AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Analyze emerging tech disruptions (Web4.0, neural interfaces, AGI) for competitive advantage
- Champion R&D initiatives with $15M+ annual innovation budget
- Develop patent strategies for breakthrough technologies in sustainability and human augmentation
- Present future scenarios to investors and board members quarterly
- Mentor innovation teams in speculative design and prototyping methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of launching future-facing products (e.g., metaverse, autonomous systems)
- Expertise in horizon scanning and trend analysis frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEPLE)
- Deep technical acumen in at least 3 emerging domains: quantum, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- PhD or equivalent in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Spectrum, MIT Tech Review, or similar
