Responsibilities
- Architect 5-year innovation roadmap for quantum computing and AI integration
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing prototype solutions for 2026 market needs
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies (neuromorphic chips, synthetic biology)
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Present innovation frameworks to C-suite and external stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in future-proof development practices
- Manage $2M+ annual innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech innovation with 5+ years in leadership roles
- Proven track record scaling commercial products from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Experience with futures forecasting methodologies (Delphi, horizon scanning)
- Strong background in agile/DevOps methodologies for complex systems
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
