Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026 technology roadmaps for emerging sectors (quantum computing, bio-interfaces, neural networks)
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies and market opportunities
- Present strategic innovation briefings to executive stakeholders and investors
- Manage $2M+ innovation budget for prototyping and pilot programs
- Build and lead a specialized innovation lab focused on 2026-adjacent technologies
- Collaborate with academic partners at MIT, Stanford, and ETH Zurich
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management with Fortune 500/unicorns
- Proven track record of launching market-defining products in emerging tech
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Deep understanding of regulatory landscapes for emerging technologies
- Exceptional stakeholder management and executive communication skills
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation cycles with measurable ROI
- Active security clearance (or ability to obtain)
