Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework, including horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Produce quarterly impact assessments on emerging technologies (quantum computing, neuro-interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on 2026 opportunity landscapes
- Author the annual 'State of 2026' report for executive and board audiences
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs focused on 2026 research
- Oversee the development of ethical guidelines for 2026 technology deployment
- Mentor the next generation of futurists through our Horizon Fellowship program
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation management, or futures research
- Published thought leadership on emerging technology or societal trends
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Experience working with C-suite executives in Fortune 500 or scale-up environments
- Deep expertise in at least two 2026-critical domains (AI ethics, climate resilience, biotech)
- Proven ability to translate complex scenarios into executable business strategies
- Professional certification in foresight methods (e.g., CFIP preferred)
- Portfolio demonstrating 5+ years of scenario planning and trend impact analysis
