Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology vision roadmap for AI, quantum computing, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions with 18-24 month horizons
- Analyze emerging tech trends to identify disruptive opportunities and competitive threats
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investor boards
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation ecosystems
- Author thought leadership publications on the future of technology adoption
- Oversee R&D budget allocation for horizon-scanning initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products with 5+ year planning cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: AI/ML, quantum computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Published research or patents in forward-looking technology applications
- Experience with scenario planning and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Global network within tech innovation and venture capital communities
