Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year strategic technology roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum/AI/IoT)
- Establish ethical frameworks for emerging technologies including AGI and biotech
- Partner with venture capital arms to identify and acquire disruptive startups
- Present future-tech insights to C-suite and board stakeholders quarterly
- Drive open-source initiatives in sustainable tech and climate modeling
- Mentor innovation fellows through our Horizon 2026 Fellowship Program
Qualifications
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Published research in Nature/Science journals on AI ethics or quantum systems
- Proven track record scaling tech initiatives from concept to market
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI, AGI safety
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) for futuristic research
- Portfolio demonstrating leadership in tech policy or standards development
