Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze emerging technology trends with 3-5 year impact assessments
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives for next-gen tech adoption
- Partner with product teams to integrate future technologies into commercial offerings
- Represent Horizon Dynamics at global tech foresight forums and academic symposiums
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with documented impact
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Experience developing long-term strategic roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology futurism or innovation
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
