Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology foresight frameworks for quantum computing, bio-integrated systems, and ambient AI
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with MIT Media Lab and NASA JPL partnerships
- Translate emerging tech trends into patentable IP and product roadmaps
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and board of directors quarterly
- Curate annual 'FutureTech Summit' with industry thought leaders
- Mentor PhD fellows in emerging tech commercialization strategies
- Oversee $15M R&D budget allocation for moonshot projects
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 10+ years industry experience
- Published author in Nature/Science on emerging technologies or equivalent impact
- Track record of commercializing at least two emerging tech innovations
- Deep expertise in at least three of: quantum algorithms, synthetic biology, neuromorphic computing
- Experience with DARPA/IARPA grant processes and technology forecasting
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
- Portfolio of 5+ patents or peer-reviewed papers on future tech
