Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics governance frameworks aligned with 2026 regulatory landscapes
- Conduct ethical impact assessments for AI systems across product development lifecycle
- Lead cross-functional working groups on bias mitigation, fairness, and transparency in AI
- Advocate for ethical AI principles in C-suite strategy discussions and board presentations
- Establish audit protocols for AI decision-making systems and compliance monitoring
- Author thought leadership on emerging AI ethics challenges and industry best practices
- Partner with legal teams to ensure adherence to evolving AI regulations and standards
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in AI ethics, governance, or responsible tech development
- Deep understanding of global AI regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience implementing bias detection and mitigation techniques in ML systems
- Proven ability to translate complex ethical concepts into actionable technical guidelines
- Strong stakeholder management skills with technical and non-technical audiences
- Certification in AI ethics or responsible AI (e.g., from IEEE, ACM, or similar)
- Published research or whitepapers on AI ethics, algorithmic fairness, or explainable AI
