Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with IEEE 7001 and EU AI Act standards
- Conduct adversarial bias testing and fairness audits across ML models using tools like IBM Fairness 360
- Develop governance policies for generative AI deployment, including watermarking and content moderation protocols
- Lead stakeholder workshops to align technical teams with ethical requirements and regulatory expectations
- Monitor emerging AI legislation (e.g., state-level AI bills) and update compliance strategies proactively
- Author transparency reports detailing model limitations, training data sources, and risk mitigation measures
- Partner with product teams to embed ethical-by-design principles into feature roadmaps
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Ethics, Public Policy, or related field with 5+ years AI governance experience
- Proven expertise in bias detection techniques and fairness metrics (Demographic Parity, Equalized Odds)
- Deep understanding of global AI regulations (GDPR, EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF)
- Experience with AI audit frameworks (e.g., Google's What-If Tool, Microsoft Fairlearn)
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Published work in AI ethics journals or industry white papers preferred
- Certification in AI governance (e.g., IEEE Ethics Certification, DeepMind Ethics & Society Fellowship)
