Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive AI ethics frameworks aligned with NIST guidelines and emerging regulations
- Conduct algorithmic bias audits and impact assessments for high-stakes AI deployments
- Collaborate with engineering teams to embed ethical safeguards into MLOps pipelines
- Design stakeholder engagement protocols for transparent AI governance processes
- Lead cross-functional ethics committees and influence product roadmaps
- Establish KPIs for ethical AI performance and continuous improvement
- Represent Nexus in industry coalitions shaping global AI policy standards
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Ethics, Philosophy, Computer Science, or related field with AI specialization
- 5+ years in AI governance, responsible AI, or ethics compliance roles
- Expertise in bias mitigation techniques and fairness metrics for ML models
- Deep knowledge of EU AI Act, NIST RMF, and evolving AI regulatory landscapes
- Proven ability to translate ethical principles into technical implementation
- Certification in AI Ethics (e.g., IBM AI Ethics, DeepMind Ethics & Society)
- Experience with stakeholder communication across technical and non-technical audiences
