Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for complex IT projects.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for optimization, automation, and efficiency gains using industry best practices.
- Documentation: Create clear, concise, and comprehensive documentation including Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specifications, and User Stories.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between business units and the IT development team, ensuring alignment and managing expectations throughout the SDLC.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (like PowerBI) to interpret data trends and provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Testing & QA Support: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans, execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure delivered solutions meet quality standards.
- Project Coordination: Monitor project progress, identify risks, and facilitate agile ceremonies such as sprint planning and retrospectives.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar data analysis role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, data modeling, and tools like Microsoft Visio, JIRA, or Confluence.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong ability to deconstruct complex problems and translate them into functional requirements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present to executive leadership.
- Methodology: Experience working within Agile/Scrum environments is highly preferred.
- Tools: Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or CRM systems is a plus.
