We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Business Analyst to join our growing team in Baltimore, MD. In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, driving process improvements and delivering data-driven solutions. • Translate complex business requirements into clear functional specifications.
• Conduct thorough gap analyses to identify areas for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scopes and deliverables.
• Create wireframes, user stories, and process flows using Visio or Lucidchart.
• Perform data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.

Responsibilities
- Gather and document detailed business requirements through interviews, workshops, and stakeholder analysis.
- Analyze current business processes and recommend solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including requirements traceability matrices and user manuals.
- Work closely with developers and QA testers to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.
- Monitor project progress and mitigate risks associated with business requirements.
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and project sponsors.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst or in a related capacity.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and data visualization tools.
- Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
- Proven track record of managing stakeholder expectations and delivering projects on time.
- BS/BA degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
