Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops with stakeholders to identify business needs, goals, and processes.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business workflows and recommend solutions to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Data Analysis: Interpret complex data sets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth.
- Documentation: Create and maintain detailed requirement specifications, user stories, and process diagrams using tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, and Management to ensure project success.
- Testing & QA: Design test plans and scenarios to validate solutions before deployment.
- Reporting: Produce regular reports on project progress and key performance indicators (KPIs) for leadership.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or similar).
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical jargon into business language for non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management tools (Jira, Confluence).
- Location: Must be willing to work on-site in Tucson, AZ.
