Responsibilities
- Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit, document, and prioritize business requirements
- Translate complex business needs into clear technical specifications for development teams
- Analyze data trends and KPIs to identify process improvement opportunities
- Create detailed process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteria using industry-standard tools
- Facilitate Agile ceremonies and collaborate with Scrum teams to ensure delivery alignment
- Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation including BRDs, SDDs, and test cases
- Validate solution effectiveness through UAT and post-implementation reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of Business Analyst experience with proven track record in requirement elicitation
- Expertise in process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart) and requirements management tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- Strong SQL skills with ability to write complex queries and analyze datasets
- Certification in CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred
- Experience with SDLC methodologies and agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban)
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Portfolio demonstrating successful BA deliverables in regulated industries
