Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews, workshops, and requirements analysis to capture business needs and translate them into clear functional specifications.
- Process Optimization: Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions that enhance operational performance.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact between business units and development teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
- Data Analysis: Utilize data to evaluate project success and prepare detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
- Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user stories, process flows, and system architecture diagrams.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to develop test plans and ensure software solutions meet defined business requirements.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (advanced functions), and at least one requirements management tool (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
- Methodologies: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven ability to diagnose complex business problems and propose effective, scalable solutions.
