Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews and workshops to elicit detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the development team.
- Data Analysis: Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for business optimization.
- Process Mapping: Create and maintain detailed process flows, wireframes, and user stories using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or JIRA.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Documentation: Author and maintain high-quality documentation, including Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Technical Design Documents (TDD).
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to validate solutions and ensure deliverables meet business needs.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the tech or finance sector.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Familiarity with project management software such as JIRA, Confluence, or Asana.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with a proven track record of solving complex business problems.
