Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to elicit, document, and analyze detailed business requirements for software development projects.
- Process Improvement: Evaluate current business processes and workflows to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for optimization.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation including user stories, use cases, process maps (BPMN), wireframes, and functional specifications.
- Bridge the Gap: Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating complex technical concepts into understandable business language.
- Testing & QA: Collaborate with QA teams to define test scenarios and ensure delivered solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
- Training: Develop training materials and conduct sessions to ensure end-users are proficient with new systems and processes.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or technology environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Microsoft Excel (Advanced: Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP), and data modeling tools.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies, with experience working in Scrum environments.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting to C-level executives and working with cross-functional teams.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues and propose data-driven solutions.
- Tools: Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and documentation tools.
