Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct interviews, workshops, and surveys to identify business needs and translate them into functional requirements.
- Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions for optimization.
- Documentation: Create detailed user stories, functional specifications, and process flows using tools like JIRA, Confluence, and Visio.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between current state and desired future state to define project scope and deliverables.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases and ensure successful UAT (User Acceptance Testing).
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to support decision-making and reporting.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a software development or IT environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (Querying & Data Modeling) and experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Tools: Strong working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, and Excel.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and troubleshoot issues.
- Soft Skills: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
