Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct thorough research and stakeholder interviews to elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for complex projects.
- Process Improvement: Analyze current business processes to identify inefficiencies and propose solutions that enhance productivity and profitability.
- Documentation: Create detailed user stories, process maps, functional specifications, and use case documentation in JIRA or Confluence.
- Gap Analysis: Perform gap analysis between current state and target state to ensure successful system implementation.
- Stakeholder Management: Serve as the primary liaison between business units and IT teams, facilitating workshops and ensuring clear communication.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to define test cases, conduct UAT, and troubleshoot issues during the deployment phase.
- Reporting: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track KPIs and project progress.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Excel (Advanced), and experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall development methodologies.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Tools: Familiarity with requirements management tools (JIRA, IBM DOORS) and process modeling tools (Visio, Lucidchart).
