Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth stakeholder interviews to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Translate complex business problems into clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
- Perform gap analysis between current business processes and proposed system solutions to identify optimization opportunities.
- Facilitate workshops, JAD sessions, and requirements gathering meetings to ensure cross-functional alignment.
- Create comprehensive process maps, wireframes, and data models using tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Balsamiq.
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop comprehensive test plans and ensure UAT sign-off.
- Maintain the product backlog, prioritizing items based on business value and ROI.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a technology or financial services environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables), and data visualization tools (Tableau or PowerBI).
- Deep understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, and Scrum methodologies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is highly preferred.
