As a night shift Business Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in optimizing our operational workflows and ensuring data integrity across our enterprise systems. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirement gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional specifications.
- Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement, optimization, and cost reduction.
- Document detailed business requirements, process flows, user stories, and use cases using standard modeling tools like Visio or Lucidchart.
- Collaborate with technical teams (developers, QA, and architects) to ensure a clear understanding of system capabilities and limitations.
- Facilitate UAT (User Acceptance Testing) sessions to validate solutions meet business requirements before deployment.
- Monitor project progress and proactively identify risks or bottlenecks in the development lifecycle.
- Provide training and support to end-users regarding new system implementations and process changes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Experience working in an Agile or Scrum development environment.
- Demonstrated ability to create high-quality documentation and technical specifications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Availability to work the night shift (e.g., 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM EST).
