Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct comprehensive interviews and workshops with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document detailed business requirements and functional specifications.
- Process Optimization: Evaluate current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement, efficiency gains, and cost reduction opportunities.
- Data Analysis: Utilize SQL and data visualization tools to interpret complex data sets, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to support decision-making.
- Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary liaison between technical teams (developers, QA) and business units, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
- Documentation: Create and maintain high-quality documentation, including user stories, use cases, process maps, and functional specifications.
- Testing Support: Collaborate with QA teams to design test scenarios, verify requirements, and ensure successful UAT (User Acceptance Testing) of new features.
- Agile Methodology: Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar analytical role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL for data querying and analysis. Experience with data modeling tools (e.g., ERD) and documentation tools (e.g., Visio, Lucidchart, Confluence) is highly preferred.
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall methodologies.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into non-technical language for stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot issues, think critically, and propose innovative solutions to business challenges.
