Role Overview
As a Business Analyst on our weekend shift, you will be responsible for analyzing current business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive requirements gathering sessions with stakeholders to define business needs, scope, and objectives.
- Translate complex business requirements into clear, concise functional specifications and user stories.
- Perform gap analysis between current processes and proposed solutions to identify necessary changes.
- Collaborate closely with developers and QA teams to ensure accurate implementation of technical requirements.
- Document process flows using UML, BPMN, and flowcharts to visualize system architecture.
- Monitor project progress on the weekend schedule and identify potential risks or blockers early.
- Train end-users and provide ongoing support for new system implementations and documentation.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, Macros).
- Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools like Jira, Confluence, or MS Project.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively during the weekend shift.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.
- Familiarity with data modeling and process mapping tools is a strong plus.
