Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering: Conduct stakeholder interviews and workshops to define clear business requirements and functional specifications for software development projects.
- Process Mapping: Create detailed process flows, use case diagrams, and workflow documentation to visualize current and future state operations.
- Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for business optimization using SQL and Excel.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between non-technical business units and technical development teams to ensure mutual understanding of project goals.
- Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation for business processes, user stories, and system requirements.
- Testing & QA Support: Collaborate with QA teams to design test scenarios and validate that implemented solutions meet business needs.
- Reporting: Generate regular performance reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and project progress.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst in a corporate or IT environment.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (querying and data manipulation), Microsoft Excel (advanced functions), and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Methodology: Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall software development methodologies.
- Analytical Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Tools: Experience with requirement management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) is highly preferred.
