Responsibilities
- Oversee month-end/year-end closing processes and financial reporting
- Manage GL operations, account reconciliations, and internal controls
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis initiatives
- Drive process improvements in financial systems and workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional departments on strategic financial planning
- Ensure compliance with SOX regulations and GAAP standards
- Mentor and develop a team of 5+ accounting professionals
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA preferred)
- 8+ years progressive accounting experience with 3+ in leadership
- Expertise in multi-entity accounting systems and ERP platforms
- Proven success in financial reporting and process optimization
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Experience with SOX compliance and internal controls
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven corporate environments
