Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end/quarter-end/year-end closing processes
- Lead financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities for executive stakeholders
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX regulations
- Manage financial audits and coordinate with external auditors
- Drive process improvements in accounting systems and financial workflows
- Lead a team of 5+ accounting professionals through mentorship and strategic guidance
- Collaborate with executive team on strategic financial planning and M&A activities
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with 5+ in corporate controller role
- Expert knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting standards
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite)
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing high-performing teams
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Immediate availability to start within 1-2 weeks
- Experience in public company reporting highly desirable
