Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting operations including month-end/quarterly closing processes
- Develop and implement internal controls to ensure financial accuracy and compliance
- Lead financial reporting initiatives for executive leadership and board members
- Manage accounts payable, payroll, and general ledger functions
- Coordinate annual audits and regulatory filings
- Analyze financial performance and provide strategic recommendations
- Mentor finance team members and optimize department workflows
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (MBA/CPA strongly preferred)
- 10+ years in corporate accounting with 5+ years in controller role
- Deep expertise in GAAP and SOX compliance requirements
- Advanced proficiency in financial software (Oracle NetSuite preferred)
- Experience managing finance teams of 5+ professionals
- Proven ability to implement process improvements
- Exceptional analytical and communication skills
