Responsibilities
- Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes with timely and accurate financial reporting
- Develop and implement robust internal controls and accounting policies
- Manage financial audits and ensure compliance with GAAP and SOX requirements
- Direct budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning initiatives
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll operations
- Collaborate with executive team on financial strategy and decision-making
- Mentor and develop accounting staff through performance management and training
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (MBA preferred)
- CPA certification required with 7+ years of corporate accounting experience
- 5+ years in controller or senior management role
- Expertise in ERP systems (SAP/Oracle) and advanced Excel modeling
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial regulations
- Proven ability to lead teams and drive process improvements
- Experience in manufacturing or corporate services industry preferred
